Vaccines for both H1N1 and seasonal influenza are provided in three forms:
1. Flu Mist- a nasal spray indicated for healthy people ages 2-49
2. Prefilled Preservative-Free Injections for children age 6 months to 35 months
3. Injections for children and adults ages 3 and above
H1N1 vaccines have been purchased and are being distributed by the US government. These vaccines are available to all patients(as supply allows).
Sesonal flu vaccine is organized into two "stocks":
Health Department "stock": vaccine provided by the health department for those children covered by Medicaid,CHIPS, or self pay
"Private Stock": vaccine purchased by our clinic for children covered by private health insurance or self pay
